The historic nature of The Write Stuff reached a new level on Friday, January 9 2009 when some of the principals with the project converged on Houston, Texas for the first meet and greet and audition. No one knew exactly what to expect, but at the end of the day it was agreed that the events were a success! Got to http://www.thewritestufftv.com to see the contestants from Texas.

All over the United States and even in the U.K., the exciting new literary reality show The Write Stuff is being discussed. Whether the reviews are good or mixed, there is definite interest in how this show that will award the winner a one-book deal and other prizes will pan out and compete with other programs that seemingly have more punch.

Auditions in Houston Texas will take place at the Quality Inn & Suites (9041 Westheimer Road * Houston, TX 77063) from 10-6p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2009. There will be a meet and greet at the same location on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 6-8p.m. for those interested in finding out more information about the show, meeting the judges and just networking with others who share a love of words and the craft of writing.
