Kurt’s comments from the Animated summaries of books I read group.

I made a video about the great book called Catch 22, a term that made it all the way into the English dictionary! The term catch-22 is known as: “a problematic situation for which the only solution is denied by a circumstance inherent in the problem.” Which means what exactly?
It means that in order to avoid a problematic situation, we find out we can’t since it’s part of the problem… a kind of circular logic… Yossarian’s motivation is to “live forever or die in the attempt.”
The book has many laugh-out-loud moments, but at the same time brings the reader face to face with the hard realities of war. The author, Joseph Heller lived the same experience, since he was also a bombardier in the Army Air Corps.

I added my first ever video to my group, where I summarize the Iliad, by Homer.
I hope it serves as a fond memory for people that read it, or maybe introduces new readers to the great story!
