TASK : MC doesn't back down from a fight
HOW IT FITS : MC Casiopea doesn't back down from a fight, either with her bullying cousin Martin or the imposter death god Vucub-Kame.

I'm only like 8% in, and right now it's more about the history of surfing and how it ties into the US's annexation of Hawaii, but it's ok. I think I start to like it more when they talk about Duke.

I started Waterman last night. How's The Magician's Nephew for you?

I read it in sixth grade. Of course 'hated it' because required school reading lol. Obv watched the movie 10+ times

I liked it a lot. I see a number of things relating to what we'll read next in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. There's also a number of other things that Lewis focused on that I imagine will be in later books but that I'm unaware of right now.

Just finished today. I need to finish another book then I'll start Waterman. I'm reading three books right now and it's a bit more than my normal ha.
