Hi, my name is Jin!
I became ARMY somewhere between the Dynamite era and Life Goes On era, so about half a year~8 months.
I became ARMY thanks to my ARMY buddies :D, and because of Mic Drop! My bias is Suga :D.

Thanks! I do really love Yoongi, not only as a bias and ARMY, but as a person. Yoongi is a great HUMAN and PERSON, which some people do not get. He is human like anyone else, and I think he is great at expressing and showing himself in all of his moments (whether it is bad, good, happy, depressed, he shares everything). Suga is a very straightforward person, who doesn't hide anything and shows his nature as a person.

I can see your love too, Mesa (I can call you that, right? I think it's going to be a little hard to call you by your full goodreads name... :D). Lil Meow Meow is compassionate, and DEFINETLY NOT COLD. It's just how he shows his love. :D

I love this era too, because like HYYH, it has so many emotions in one (I said that in the HYYH discussion).

'Dionysus' shows what BTS has achieved.
'Shadow' shows what not only Yoongi, but the rest of the members, can be afraid of
'We are Bulletproof: The Eternal' shows how tight BTS members are as one, and what ARMY can mean to them
'Respect' shows that BTS doesn't care what the haters says, but works harder and harder to achieve what they (the haters) said can't be possible
'Black Swan' shows how BTS got to this place in the first place, and how it can be possible
'Louder than bombs' is a hard one, but I think it shows how BTS is stronger than what other people say about them (namely, the haters) and how they went through those words (LOUDER THAN BOMBS I SINGGGGG)

And of course, yes, again, 'We are Bulletproof: The Eternal' will forever remain in our hearts (because it's a powerful song that way).

HYYH is the era of EVERYTHING: hip, raw emotions, telling the haters to back off, sharing their troubles and successions... It is the album that has everything in it.

For example:

Silver Spoon: Hip and telling the haters to BACK OFF (and, also, one of my favorite songs that falls into the latter category)
RUN: Raw emotions
Butterfly, I NEED YOU: Sharing their troubles (I realized that Butterfly is included in the intro of RUN, and that RUN is such a long MV... and of course, that I NEED YOU is universally famous.)
DOPE: Just HIP. HIP ALL THE WAY
Boyz with fun: Sharing their successions, in a way

It has everything in one album, which is why it's so special in a way.

I agree! The way the rap line sang their emotions into the song... It just showed their purity and their emotions that they have been hiding. I AM SO GLAD they didn't disband!

I fell in love with SUGA the first, because of Boy with Luv (BTW this is going to be a looooooooong post). If you read the "How did you become an ARMY?" discussion board, you will know that I became a BTS fan because of these three songs: Boy With Luv, Save Me, and Mic Drop.

Suga is (in my opinion) the king of all three of these era's. The main reason why I took real interest in Suga was because of his solo part in Boy With Luv. The close up on his face with the piano tiles in the background, and his blue, blue hair..... AHHHHHH I loved him since then.

(AND you HAVE to love his blue hair. He looks good in every single hairstyle/color, but I LOVE HIS BLUE HAIRRRRR.)

After that, I came across Mic Drop, and Suga's solo part, again, was amazing. I loved when he was in the middle of everyone and said "Mic Drop." It was just DOPE. Also, in the end of the MV, where he literally DROPPED THE MIC.......

SUGA has to be my bias, but not just because I love his music. I LOVE his attitude, the way he solves things, his humor, the way he cares while being so cool and dismissive about it...

Some would say it's just heartless, but the way Suga cares while being super cool about it is just his personality and what makes him, well, him. His personality, his sayings, his thoughts, the way he acts around the rest of the members... Yoongi is such an iconic character that way. You can't say that his dismissive personality is too cold, but that's how our Yoongi shows his love and compassion.

Wow, I must really love Suga! I think the more I write, the more I see of his character.

You gotta love them :D. I'm not an old ARMY (I joined somewhere between the Dynamite and Life Goes On era), but still love all the BTS songs the same :D

I became ARMY and Suga biased by three songs:
Boy With Luv
Mic Drop (you gotta love this era)
and... Save Me

Before I was ARMY, I didn't really know the term BTS that well, but after one of my ARMY buddies recommended a couple of songs, it was love at first note.

Even though there are SO MANY contenders for my fave, I have to say it's Outro: Tear and Love Maze (and maybe 134340 :D).

I LOVE this era! Boy With Luv and Dionysus has to be some of my favorite songs, with Shadow (Yoongi's my biased :D). But I also love Black Swan, UGH!, and We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal.

This is one of my favorite albums because it contains a LOT of my favorite BTS songs! Boy With Luv is one of the reasons why I became ARMY.

(I also LOVE the 'Love Yourself' era, I think it's so powerful. Both HER and TEAR is good.)
