I hate when Jonas' father kills the twin! It is also sad when Jonas' parents don't understand love and say they enjoy Jonas.
I enjoyed e symbolism of color and memories. I think we can learn about how to not take things for granted.
Are there allusions in The Giver? Post them here! Hint: Allusions are references to famous people, places, events, times, works of literature, religion, etc. in the book.
I love the memory of family and love because we take it for granted. Jonas doesn't know love until he receives that memory.
