To kill a mockingbird definitely lived up to the hype. But the book I had to read in school and absolutely loved was the three musketeers

I dont have a list yet. But i think i will try to read 12 books again. 2021 the books i chose were a little disappointing. I hope i choose better in 2022

U- the outsiders by SE Hinton
N-the thirteenth tale- by Diane Setterfield(my second favorite author)
E-The Street of a Thousand Blossoms- Gail Tsukiyama(my favorite author)

I have already read this detective series but the Stevens and Windermere series by Owen Laukkanen is pretty good. The first book the professionals is very fast pace detective series.

The Rogues of the Republic by Patrick Weekes

Im about to start reading Lore by Alexander Bracken. I'm exciting about this one because I love Greek mythology. I hope it lives up to the hype.

The searcher by Tana French takes place in a small village in Ireland read in January
The Dry by Jane Harper takes place in fictional Kiewarra Australia. I just finish this one

Awesome! Good luck! I'm in healthcare too. I had a pretty good day. Went looking for a townhome hopefully I can get the one I seen in my price range. Was looking for a husband but gave up on it. I think it was part of a mid life crisis i was going through during the end of 2020. But I think I over it.

Just added it to read

Louise Penny series with Gamache isnt bad. I have read a couple. If Dear Evan Hansan book is like the play ur gonna love it. The play is one of the best plays I have seen. Lived up to the hype. I miss my musicals

Netflix has a group of shows from the American writer Harlan Coben that I like. His books are american based but the shows take place in Europe. One that I can think of is called the five. I also love money heist and elite(spain), wentworth and wanted (Australian), top boy(british). I recently fell in love with Alice in wonderland (Japanese) and kingdom(a zombie Korean show)

Hi I'm Monica. I have been on Goodreads for about a decade and I love it. But this is my first year actually joining book clubs so it is also a new adventure for me but I'm looking forward to discussing books with everyone in the group. I'm a slow reader because of work, my obsession with seeing every musical shows(pre covid)and my obsession with binging Netflix internationaI tv shows. I enjoy reading historical fiction, fantasy, thrillers, and mysteries. I'm trying to read more horror this year

I dont have a list. Which is the reason why I decided to join book clubs this year so I can get book recommendations from other readers. Right now I'm reading a thriller called the Dry by Jane Harper. Kindle kept recommending her books in its store for me so I caved in and brought one of her most popular books. Thus far not great but not bad either.

I have heard good things about the Shadow of the Wind. I had it on my list at one time and never got aroind to it. Good luck. Btw do u plan to have any books that the group will read together
