technically I haven't read anything new much lately. I just finished my comfort book, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. But I am eyeing a new book that was just released this week, Just a Monster, I think it is by Vanessa Len.
Currently reading the Crave series. Tiktok got me to read it, and while the first took me a while to get through, the second made up for the first in many ways. Finished the second yesterday and now starting on the third.

It's a whole new experience when you think outside your "world". Fun to get lost in it sometimes.
I always thought eagles actually had poor eyesight. No idea why I thought that.
Eagle sounds fun though! You'd get to explore the world and its seven wonders. I just wanna stay inside and get fed all day. Bonus points if it's mac n cheese.

Same, I never thought of it like that before. It was always asked, do we have a soul? what is the consciousness? (I have no idea if that word is right, but I'm using it anyways). But what if we are THE soul, and this body is just a vessel? In that case, I know I'd want to be a cat in my next life. No bills to pay.
Saw this on pinterest as well and thought to add it here. "You don't have a soul. You are the soul. You have a body, temporarily."

Meredith wrote: "@Sadie have you tried From Blood and Ash the series by Jennifer L Armentrout. I'm currently on book 3 and my favorite series right is ACOTAR and this one reminds me of it.I can't ..."
@Meredith, I finished From Blood and Ash last week, and about to get the second one soon. ACOTOR is so good, great to re-read when you have nothing else to do.
I'll check your shelf out!
Meredith wrote: "@Sadie what are some of your faves and may be we can help pick one similar?"@Meredith, sure, I'd love that. Let me know your faves too. There are some of the books I always come back to read again:
Seveneves by Neal Stephenson
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
Strangelets by Michelle Gagnon
A court of thorns and roses series by SJM
I tend to stick to fantasy/science fiction genre, but Midnight Library was more of magical realism than fantasy.
Meredith wrote: "@Sadie; The Cruel Prince was a DNF for me this year. I'm not sure if I just wasn't in the mood for it or if it just wasn't meant to be."@Meredith I had the same issue. Putting that book on my DNF as well.
Time to hunt down a new book.

@Meredith, It's a never-ending cycle of books, and I love it.
I'm just getting started on The Cruel Prince. It's been on my list for a while after seeing rave reviews for it. So I hope it lives up to the hype it gets.

Just finished From Blood and Ash. It was quite good! I'm about to read Throne of Glass now. I still haven't finished my September books, and it's looking like I won't finish my October books either, haha.
Meredith wrote: "@Sadie. If you like ACOTAR you'll probably enjoy this one. The world building and politics of this is so good. I can't wait to see how it all plays out."I loved ACOTAR. From the first book's completion, I literally went to buy the rest of the series on a whim. My wallet did not like that. I also brought one of that author's other series as well, Throne of Glass just today.
I love a good world-building system. Too many books are released with vague descriptions or some doesn't make sense when you take a closer look at it.
Meredith wrote: "@Sadie; I literally just finished it. I downloaded the audio of book 2 so I can start listening to it on the way home"How did you like it?
I've been looking for books especially in fantasy genre, science fiction. any help you could give me would seriously be appreciated!

There's a handful of what I want already not even 15 seconds into scrolling the page. I'm going to be broke this month, I can already tell.
