I need to get the flow when I'm reading or I forget who all the characters are!
I didn't even know there was a second book! That has gone straight onto my TBR list! I'm going to need to track down a copy now!

It certainly got me thinking while I was reading it and there were times, particularly nearer the end, when I felt so emotional. I love that it drew such strong emotion from me and I can't believe that I haven't read it before now!
I've just finished reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (I feel like I might be a bit late to the party with this one!) but I absolutely loved it. I really connected with it and it is definitely one of the few books that I could see myself rereading at some point!

I've only read one of Jane Austen's novels (although I have plenty more on my shelf just waiting for me to pick them up!) I read Persuasion last summer and really enjoyed it and I am hoping to read Pride and Prejudice soon!
I've just finished Princess: The True Story of Life Inside Saudi Arabia's Royal Family, Now Updated by Jean Sasson which is an interesting book set in Saudia Arabia and tells the experience of women's oppression.
I think the ending is my favourite part of the book! I completely agree with you Jennifer! Every time I thought I had solved it I turned the page and realised that it wasn't as simple as I thought it was! Like you say Michelle it was a surprise, I for one didn't see it coming!
I know this doesn't relate to the questions but I'm just wondering what people thought of the ending of The Thursday Murder Club? I really liked the ending but I did find it quite complicated and I had to reread a few bits to understand who did what. I liked that it wasn't straight-forward and I'm curious to know what everyone else thought.
I really enjoyed The Thursday Murder Club. I was engrossed from the first page. The constant movement of the plot and the short chapters gave the novel momentum. I really liked the characters, and although my favourite character is Bernard, I think I relate most with Donna because she is nearer to my age. I did see aspects of lots of people I know in the main characters though which I think made the book more relatable for me! This book is really relaxed even though it is about murder! For me, it is one of those books that I never wanted to end! I don't know that the characters are believable, but I certainly enjoyed the concept!
