My name is Rachel I have two children and was in an emotion, physical, financial, controling marriage and left after almost 4 years of abuse. Went back serveral times and relized things were getting worst and i suffered very bad injures. Now, 2 years later i am now excepting help I am now enrolled in counseling and a domestic volience support group in my area. I am alive thanks to the women i talked to on the National domestic volience hotline. I had tried to get help from a local crisis center and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone and stayed for a while then I felt scared for mine and my childrens safety it was after i left that my husband came after me. I was denied a protection of abuse but was granted a no contact order. (my husband soon to be ex husband) is very charming and also works with the police they all think "he is a great guy and im crazy" I am still dealing with a lot of issues such as trusting, depression, anxiety, fear, and much more thank you for this group.
