Yes, it reminded me that there is a God and that we need to have faith that things will get better.

So, I imagine you would not have stayed with Shane as long as she did? I kind of felt sorry for him. I wonder if she feels guilty for abandoning him when he clearly needed her. I know she's better off, but that's a tough decision.

I'm wondering if anybody else read this book and then ended an abusive relationship? It completely opened my eyes to how I was being treated.

I didn't even realize I was in abusive relationship until I read Dark Confessions of an Extraordinary, Ordinary Woman. It is heartbreaking that so many woman go through similar pain and I appreciate everyone who brings awareness to this serious problem.
