Liz it's shocking how many women don't realise this. One of the findings in my research in India is that over 50% of women in India thought their husband was right to beat them. As a result most women don't realise their relationship is abusive and wrong. I've highlighted this in my book how so much abuse is justified and people ignore it. Hopefully my book will help raise awareness in India and money for projects to end Domestic Violence in India.

I've not read Dark Confessions so will put it on my next to read list. I hope you're better now than you were when you realised you were in an abusive relationship.

114966 Hi,

I am an author and recently published my debut novel. It focuses on domestic violence in India. Highlights cultural, social and psychological factors which create systems that allow violence against women to occur.

I will be using some profits to fund projects in India and UK to end domestic violence.

I hope to discover new literature in this group. I also hope some readers here would be interested in reading my work some day.

But I thought I'd join and say hi and get involved here.
