Hi to all, I'm a gender scholar with the Justice and Gender-Based Violence Research Initiative at Wellesley Centers for Women, Wellesley College -- and before that I was a professor of gender studies -- so when I found this book group, I was so thrilled! Look forward to discussing important books on issues of gender and (gender-based violence) with everyone. Full disclosure: I'm also a Goodreads author with a debut release (Weight of a WomanWEIGHT OF A WOMAN) that I would love you to check out on Goodreads, as it fits this group's mission to explore books on the topic of gender equality and goals to end domestic/sexual violence.
