There are 4 main series.
The mortal instruments which is this- Mortal Instruments Series Cassandra Clare Collection 6 Books Bundle
This is the first series published by her in this world.
Then the infernal devices- The Infernal Devices Series Collection (Vol 1 to 3) By Cassandra Clare 3 Books Bundle Gift Wrapped Slipcase Specially For You
These books are set chronologically before the mortal instruments, but were published after. This is my favourite series.
Then we have the dark artifices- Cassandra Clare The Dark Artifices Series 3 Books Collection Set
This is set after the events of the mortal instruments, with some characters from there and some new ones.
And we have the last hours series- which is Chain of Gold. Book 2 of this series, Chain of Iron is releasing in March. This is set chronologically after the infernal devices series.
We also have The Red Scrolls of Magic and The Lost Book of the White which is a series written about 2 characters of the mortal instruments series. I haven’t read this yet.
There’s also a series which is going to come out after the last hours which will be about 2 characters of the dark artifices but there’s no confirmation yet.
Now the novellas-
The Bane Chronicles is about a character of the mortal instruments series.
Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy. I won’t tell you what this is about, it will spoil the rest of the books.
Ghosts of the Shadow Market is another novella with characters mostly from the infernal devices and the lost hours.
There’s a book The Shadowhunter's Codex which is about the rules of Shadowhunters. I haven’t read that yet.
I know it sounds intimidating but the books are great! I’ve read most of them and I’m re-reading it this time.

Yes they’re connected. They’re all in the same world and have overlapping characters. There are 4 different ways to read her books.
