Yes! A lot of people see them as comic reliefs which they were, but they are much more.

But I personally don’t like it when a traumatic past becomes an excuse to do certain things instead of it being an explanation. :)

1149330 Some of the best morally grey characters I’ve come across are from the Six of Crows duology. All the characters are morally grey and I love them!

The Cruel Prince series also has a lot of morally grey characters I enjoyed reading about.
