114553 I'm blogging this week about a theme that resonates with me: Find your center. Hop over and join me at http://helencjohannes.blogspot.com/
114553 A rare event, a fine documentary about the romance genre, those who write it and those who read it--Love Between the Covers. I attended a screening Feb. 27 and found the film fantastic and engrossing. For those who are interested in more info, check out http://www.lovebetweenthecovers.com/
114553 The Marsh Madness (Book Collector Mystery, #4) by Victoria Abbott The Marsh Madness
Just finished Marsh Madness, the 4th in the book collector mystery series by Victoria Abbott. Each book focuses on a classic mystery writer's books and follows that writer's plots. Excellent stuff!
114553 I've just finished The Rosie Effect The Rosie Effect The Rosie Effect (Don Tillman, #2) by Graeme Simsion , sequel to the laugh-out-loud The Rosie Project The Rosie Project The Rosie Project (Don Tillman #1) by Graeme Simsion . This is a great mood-lifter.

114553 Today is the Bard's 451st birthday, and I'm blogging about his influence on popular fiction. Stop over at http://helencjohannes.blogspot.com/ if you'd like to join the conversation.
114553 I'm reading something light and poignantly funny for the holidays: The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. It's laugh out loud funny, especially for fans of The Big Bang Theory.

114553 Time travel, fantasy, paranormal and sci-fi are those genres where one can't possibly 'write what you know,' but if the characters have authentic emotional experiences, and if the world building is clear, readers will go along for the ride. What you've done, Anna, in your time travel books is what my blog post suggested: give the readers the kernel of authentic experience at the heart of your time travel universe.
