My debut novel 'Beware the Seventh Wave' is making steady progress here in the UK, but not in the US. Described as 'Quintessentially English' I think this refers to the setting - as deceit, murder and obsessive love form the basis of the novel, with a twist at the end. Or maybe this is typical of an English market town!!
I would love comments if anyone has time to read the sample pages on Amazon http://amzn.to/1ks3xPZ
I can be contacted via my website www.maureengregorybooks.com or via Goodreads.
Many thanks.

Well I do see them in my dreams, but how fantastic to see one in real life. If you have 62 seconds to spare take a look at this video-the horse is my Jassmin & she was galloping across the field on a stormy day with her mane blowing wildly. She stopped just in front of me (phew, glad about that) & I took a close up of her eye. Hope you like it

My novel Beware the Seventh Wave is quintessentially English, set in a quiet market town in rural England, where nothing much happens - or does it? In the novel deceit, obsessive love, betrayal and murder are threaded alongside the fabric of normal life.

Also, this is the promo/video (62 secs if you have a moment) http://youtu.be/mlR-IN0fbLo

Well, when I make an aubergine bake I add slices of brie cheese to it & it makes it really nice.

I'm not too good at following instructions. That being the case I decided on the spur of the moment to make a promo video with a friends help. We downloaded a free app & sat staring blankly at the screen. Friend went into the kitchen returning with 2 large glasses of cider. Amazingly, it all became clear. Using only 2 shots, taken on mobile phones we put the 62 sec video together. What do you think? I love it, http://youtu.be/mlR-IN0fbLo
If anyone want to know more fellow author Nancy Wood posted this article which you might find interesting. Me I prefer the cider & see method.

Thank you Linda,
I'm just finding my way around.
As it is blowing a gale outside I have finally found time to sort out an author page, after a few blips I think I have got the hand of it. However, I now have to go outside, away from the world of books, readers and writers into the real world of sleet/rain to sort out the fluffy/furry gang.
I wouldn't have it any other way (Oh but it is cold & the fire is warm)
Bye for now
Maureen

What do you think? the horse at the beginning is my lovely Jazzmin.
Good luck with your website, let me know when it is up and running.
