It's a fantasy, but please be warned...it's violent in spots. So if that's not your cup of tea, you might want to pass:)
Reviews (here and on Amazon) are GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!!!!

Riddle in Stone

And...if you like what you read in RIDDLE, you migth want to go on to BETRAYAL IN THE HIGHLANDS.

The books follow the exploits of Edmund...a middle age, fat, librarian who stutters. Tired of being teased and ridiculed for the way he speaks, Edmund sets out to become a famous adventure. Unfortunately, his first quest goes horribly, HORRIBLY wrong!
RIDDLE IN STONE is a bit grim in spots. But I don't think the gore is without merit. Bad things happen when people mess with the goblins of the mountains.
BETRAYAL IN THE HIGHLANDS is far less dark; but hopefully it'll still keep your attention.
If you read either of my books, PLEASE, let me know. I'd love to hear what you think! Seriously! That's the only way I can get better as a writer, so tell me what you liked and didn't like.
Both books are available as e-books. RIDDLE is also an audiobook. BETRAYAL won't be an audio book for a couple more months.
If any of you want to read my books, but don't want to shell out the $2.99... let me know, I'll buy you a copy!
Thanks! And again, please let me know what you think of the books. I won't be offended if you say they stink!!! I won't be at all! I want to become better and I need to hear your honest thoughts. :)

I am sure I shall enjoy Betrayal in the Higlands...."
Thanks, Frenchie. That means a great deal to me. I hope you enjoy the second one!:)

In the first book (Riddle in Stone), Edmund -- a fat, middle age, librarian who stutters-- has always dreamed about becoming a famous hero so people would finally give him the respect that he craves; however, his first adventure goes horribly wrong. He learns of an ancient secret that could doom all of humanity and the evil goblins of the mountains will do anything they can to get it, including torture Edmund and everybody he loves...
In the second book (Betrayal in the Highlands), Edmund and his companion (Pond) and his manic puppy (Becky) decided to stop running and start fighting back. But Edmund's beloved hometown (Rood) is caught in the middle. If he doesn't win, everything will be lost...
The books have a grim side, but also some dry humor that I hope will be appealing. If you read it, please let me know. I'd love to hear what you think!
