I noticed a bit of that religious backdrop in Black. After I got over my snobbery about it, I've picked it back up. I'm probably behind. Heh, me and my pride.

I have one of the first nooks and my iPhone and sometimes hard copy.

I guess. Switch the gender, change the bullet to a drunk driver and make the other world a fantasy place (then later on another place of technology), toss in some destiny/fate and tangled timelines instead of a terrorist attack and that's how it differs. I'm just deflated for the moment. ;)

Black sounds good, as I just read the short synopsis but now I have to scrap my own story The Perpetual Dream as it's almost the same exact thing. Fudge! Now I'm kinda peeved. Lol. 20,000 words in and all for nothing.
