Katniss' eyes widen "Clove", she gasps and shoves rue to the ground.

Katniss nods "Oh it was Peeta". She shakes her head "He attacked me with apples".

Katniss makes a gesture to Audrey intending to run when she does. Slowly she backs away and runs away with Audrey. "Audrey, stay here I need to check in the others". Katniss runs to rue. "Is everything alright"?

"It takes a lot more than apples to kill me".

Katniss gets hit by an apple and cannot suppress her laugh. She rises "Apples? Attack of the apples? Really?"

Katniss hopes Peeta doesn't intend to hurt her allies

Katniss stays down not to sure what he means

"Don't be surprised when they rip out your organs later". Says Katniss and dives in to the bushes so the rest of her alliance can finish the plan. She also wants to see Peeta's reaction

"That wasn't my question", Katniss says shakily, " why would you join the careers of all people

Katniss waits tensely for an explanation

Katniss quickly recovers from the sudden blow and says "Why would you join the Careers? The people of District 12 are going to be sick.

Katniss freezes. She doesn't know what to say. She decides not to say anything and runs away to rejoin Audrey who is probably terrified right now. She thinks she is in the clear when she is yet again stopped by Peeta's voice

Katniss and Audrey sprint into the open. Katniss is about to begin taking things when she sees how close Peeta is to seeing Rue and Flare. Taking a chance, Katniss throws an apple at the cornucopia and tries to run before she is caught

Katniss sees Peeta take his eyes off the spot where Audrey and Katniss are sitting and knows that this is their chance. "Audrey, we have to go NOW".

Katniss and Audrey set off running towards the cornucopia. They duck by the bushes just around the clearing. Katniss sees Peeta there and almost screams how she knew he was a trader. But other than that she thinks nothing of it, other than the fact that they need to destroy the supplies
