Miles didn't come out for two days. He ate some crackers one day but didn't have much of an appetite

Miles laid on his floor for the rest of the day and the next day

Miles got out of the wheelchair and dragged himself into his room. He locked his door so Scarlett wouldn't have to see him. Then he dragged himself over to his desk and tried to pull himself into his chair but it fell on him. Miles sat up against the wall and fell asleep. His legs were bleeding a bit from being dragged but he couldn't feel it

Miles went over to his room but the wheelchair was to wide to fit through the door. Miles banged his head against the wall

Miles was being held up by Scarlett. "Scarlett you're squeezing the air out of me"

Miles kept his arms wrapped around Scarlett's neck

Miles put his arms around her neck. He wiped the tears off Scarlett's face.

Miles turned a corner and hi chair tipped. He fell onto the ground.

"It's not your fault" miles started to go down the hall

Miles didn't answer. He looked broken. He lifted his legs into the wheelchair and sighed. Once in the wheelchair he looked like a cripple. "Scarlett. Miles turned the chair to face her

Miles tried to move his legs, even though he knew it wouldn't do anything

"Scarlett." Miles eyes were full of sadness "I can't walk." Miles paused "w-will you p-please see if there is a wheelchair in the medicine cabinet?"

Miles sat on the sofa. He didn't want to admit that he needed a wheelchair.

Miles grabbed the crutches. He lifted himself up on them and could balance and stand using them both, but when he tried to move forward he fell and crumpled on the ground. He sighed. "Scarlett? Help?"

Miles layed down. He spoke to Scarlett but didn't look her in the eyes "do you mind seeing if you can find crutches for me?"

"Please, Scarlett will you help me get back inside? My wings still hurt a bit" miles layed back down with a thump and groaned. He tried not to cry

Miles sat up. He put all his weight on his hands
