I'm still very active on other platforms-Twitter, Instagram & Linkedin, but have badly neglected this particular stage. Good that you're back here too. I'm really rusty in navigating the site. Trying to add my new books etc. learning the ropes again. keep in touch!

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. It is a lengthy absence indeed. As I said on my latest blog post. Apologies for the repetition. Life & work etc, have conspired to prevent me updating on here. I'm back & still trying to get up to speed with Goodreads again. Attempting to add more of my books to my profile & to navigate my way around the site. All my ebooks are available on Amazon. My author name is C S Dixon as I've written it. Horror, Mystery, Children, Poetry, Romance & Erotic.
Happy reading, bye for now!

Hi everyone, long time no read, oops, lots of life & work issues.
Anyway, here I am. Just a thought, I have asked when is your favorite time to read, now how about where is your favorite place to read? Lazing in a deck chair on some sun kissed beach, sitting on a bench in a park, reading in bed, in a library, etc? Let me know please :-)

TY for the response Natalie :-)

Hi everyone, how are you? Just a quick question what was the first book you remember reading as a child? Looking back I recall The Hobbit & probably Mr. Midshipman Easy a sea faring adventure. How about your earliest memories?
Natalie wrote: "Definitely both. I read the ebook then if it touches me I want a hard copy!"Hi Natalie, TY for your comment! :-)
Athina wrote: "Oh I absolutely agree. Let’s also not forget how much ebooks have helped with international sales. There was a time and age when I would have to pay hefty amounts at customs and wait for 2 to 3 wee..."Hi Athina, TY again for your comment :-)

Hi Natalie, TY for your comment, yes in my experience you always do, but you would be surprised at the number of reader who don't :-)

Hi Athina, thanks very much for taking the time & trouble to comment. I agree with you there is a place for both, I do not like those who snobbishly critiicize ebooks as though they are somehow unworthy of being mentioned alongside printed books. Books are books, writers are writers :-)

Hi everyone, I know it's hardly an original topic, but I thought I would put it out here. Which do you prefer to read ebooks or the printed format?
As a writer of stories for the ebook format, I am probably biased in their favor, but I love printed books too, I just don't have enough space in a tiny apartment for more than a handful. Let me know what you think please!

Hi everyone, just a quick question about reviews, how many of you always leave a review after you have read a book & where do you post your reviews on Goodreads/Amazon or other places?

Hi Athina, TY for your comment :-)

Hi Natalie TY! :-)

Hi Natalie, thanks for your comment. It is the same for me, work & life etc, usually get in the way :-)

When is your favorite time for reading, mornings, afternoons, or evenings?

Hi 2 all & thanks for joining me on here! First post-perhaps not original, but one I think worth returning to! As a writer it does give me much pleasure when a reader or readers really engage with a character from one of my stories & ask what would happen next, or what if? This has been a case in point with my 1st book Shadow my psychological/horror compared to Poe. Several people have contacted me to talk about the main character David & how they felt about him. It made me think how much you identify or relate to a particular character in a novel & if you can put yourself in their place, depending of course on the particular genre! Let me know when you read, what you feel about particular heroes or villains! Check out Shadow on this site!
