Yeah , Mortmain's wierd. And his intentions with Tessa kinda sucks. But I've seen villians like him before. Not in Cassie's books tho. He's nothing like Valentine or Annabelle or Belial(considering We don't know if belial's the real villian in cog. Cassie has those swap villian tricks up her sleeve lol)

Mm-hmm. Me too. I was just so mad at this book cuz I just NEEDED to know why will was acting wierd. But after I finished this, I was like "Why didn't you tell me in this book, Cassandra!!!!!!!" and I had to wait a whole year to know what's wrong with will. As she got off saying it was fake. I mean SERIOUSLY?? It STILL gets me nutzz

Loved it! it's one of my all time faves Actually. at first It was kinda confusing of Will. but it eventually got better.

@Devanshi I'd prefer you reading Mortal instruments first. but if you wanna catch up to COI, you could use the chronological order. but if you're a fast reader, you can totally read TMI first :)

for Shadow hunters I'd reccomend you to start with TMI then TID then go with TDA and TEC and then TLH.

but if you wanna read these in chronological order, you must read TID(The Infernal Devices) first then go with TLH(The Last Hours: Chain of Gold) then TMI (Mortal instruments) and TEC (The Eldest Curses: "Red scrolls of magic" and "lost book of white") and finally TDA(The Dark Artefacts)

but watch out as Chain of Iron frm TLH is coming out next year. if you haven't read any of Cassandra's books, you can read in Chronological order as you'd be catching up next year with COI even if you haven't read the reat of the series :)
