Your thoughts on them?
1. Will
2. Jem
3. Tessa
4. Jessamine
5. Nate
6. Mortmain
7. Charlotte
8.Henry
9. Gabriel
10. Gideon
11. Sophie
Or any other character from tid :)

ohh! can you write all about it in the spoiler sec? i am so curious

tid is very different from other books. the main thing which frustrates me the most, and maybe the only thing is the threat/villain of the book, who is soooo different from other cassie villians. you might understand more in clockwork princess....
also, merry Christmas everyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

i agree with this actually. if Jem was supposed to have feelings for Tessa, then i felt that there weren't really as many scenes with them together. for the majority of the trilogy the story mainly focused on Will and Tessa's connection.

please mention in the spoiler sec

what part bothered you the most?

“One must always be careful of books,” said Tessa, “and what is inside them, for words have the
power to change us.”
“Only the very weak-minded refuse to be influenced by literature and poetry,” said Tessa, determined
not to let him run wildly off with the conversation.
she is so wise lol
×D

painful in a good way or bad way?

@Deepak the second book is my favourite from the trilogy and I hope you love it too! also, I'm still reading Clockwork Angel :(

@Micaela I agree! for me, i automatically imagine everything the way i want to myself. cassie does decsribe literally everything, even furniture! which kind of annoys me too

tbh its not like i hate tessa but there are some things about her that bothers me

my favorite character might be a lottle shocking to some......its Jessamine Lovelace.

who were your favourite characters??

I've noticed something, that whenever a character or just any random person dies in a shadowhunter book, "somewhere outside the windows a church clock chimed the midday hour."
this isn't a spoiler, but in qoaad its a random fact mentioned that whenever the clock strikes a certain point in the day, it means that the gates of the heavens open. and whenever someone dies, most of the time there is a sentence like that.
when Miranda, the automaton who worked in the Dark House died in chapter 6, I noticed this sentence : 'somewhere outside the windows a church clock chimed the
midday hour.'
its such a cool fact in here. it will come back later in tda...

I am still reading clockwork angel....i have no idea why i am being so sloooow
