I'm sure it could. I've seen people who loved Lord of the Rings complain about the films changing their own mental picture of everything in the books. I haven't read it yet, either. Someday! xD

I've been wanting to read these for a while now. I already own Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, so I need to finish the collection. xD

Really? One of my friends loved the book so much she flatly refuses to watch the movie. xD She insists that it would ruin the book for her, lol.

They turned The Hobbit into three movies. xD That could have turned out better, but the actual storyline doesn't seem to have come from a book, so I'm guessing they have more...freedom? And if J. K. Rowling wrote the screenplay it can't be too awful. I hope.

I don't know who Eddie Redmayne is. (Please don't throw anything at me, lol.)

I want to know more about the story itself. I heard that there's supposedly an American version of Hogwarts. :O

xD I haven't read the book because I can't bring myself to spend so much money on a new one. I've been spoiled by the twenty-five cent ones at thrift stores, lol.
