"Now." Alex asks; as the raven practically swallows the honey bun in one bite, "what did you mean? It sounded like, almost like, Mooligan? Who?" he furrows his brows.

Alex squints. "What? Here, let me help." He grabs the food, and unwraps it. A sticky bun, his favorite food. "Here."

Alex's eye twitched. "What do you need?" Then, he sighs. "you're hungry, aren't you?" He reaches into his pocket and brings out a wrapped piece of food.

He glared at the poor thing. "What do you want?" he asked of the raven. "What, you came here to stab yourself on my sword too?"

Alex clenched his fists.

They never got that cup of coffee.

He grabbed his dagger, and shoved it into his sheath. With a glance at the girl, he pulled the sword out, then looked for his cloth.

He sighed. Of course Julian had it. He just wanted to have his cloth and go home, and rest. Forget this day ever happened.
