Alastair shrugged, and looked away from her eyes. He liked her eyes. They were....nice.
"Don't be forgotten, Ryan. Make as many memories as you can." He smiled to himself. "It is okay to make mistakes."
Marcus shrugs, and catches snow on his tongue. "Get some sticky buns and read? My favorite place is only down the street."
Marcus plopped down beside her, and pushed her in. They rolled over in the snow, collecting it as they went.
Dante sighed. He closed his eyes, and turned back around. He grabbed his box, hefted it up, and walked out without a word.It was snowing.
He wasn't sure what exactly he would do, but he'd figure it out. He had too, before.
Alastair patted her back awkwardly. "I didn't, no. But I knew of her story." He sighed. "It got better. She met someone who remembered her, fell in love."
Alastair nodded. Everyone. As soon as they had taken their eyes off of her, she was forgotten.
They watched the girl-- Adeline LaRue-- as she cried. Alastair's shoulders sagged. "I couldn't imagine what that'll do to a person."
Alastair whisked them away, and they appeared in a house. He waved his hand. They watched as the girl barged into the house, and shouted at her mother. But her mother didn't recognize her.At all.
The girl may have gotten eternal life, but she was also cursed. She was forgotten. Forgotten by everyone that ever met her.
They watched as the girl's father barged into the house and growled at her. The girl pleaded with him, tears rolling down her cheeks. Her mother shivered. The girl stepped out of the house, and the door slammed shut in her face.
The man had shadows flowing behind him, the trees were dark, and ever endless. The girl asked for eternal life. But what she got was more than she had bargained for.
They watched as the girl pleaded with the man, with the devil. The man finally shrugged, and gave the girl a smile. Then, there was nothing. Silence. They watched as the girl stood, and looked around. There was a confused look on her face, as if she was wondering why the lights had suddenly gone out.
The girl wanted to make a prayer to the gods. She thought there was still time. They watched as the girl fell to her knees and began praying. They could hear her tears all the way from over here.
But it was too late. Never pray to the gods that answer after dark, Ryan. For you will get this instead.
They watched as a man, with green eyes, and dark hair, appeared in front of the girl. Him and the girl had a chat, and they saw the man take a necklace from the girl.

yea, actually!
Alastair smiled, and lightly touched her eyes. He reveled at the gasp it drew from her as they transported to another world. It was a dark night. Alastair's voice rang all around them. They were standing in a field, surrounded by snow. A girl, wearing a dress was running through the woods.
The girl wanted nothing to do with this. Being forced into marriage wasn't her destiny.

Marcus shrugged. "So why not do it now? We just came from a massive battle, I still haven't taken a shower...it's a free opportunity."
Marcus nodded and they sat in silence, drinking the stuff. Marcus tilted his head towards the window. "It's snowing outside." He stood up. "We should go out there, make angels."
Alastair smiled, and put his arm around her shoulders. "Let me tell you a story about a boy who was lost in the woods, a girl who had to make a deal with the devil."
