Just a quick note to let you all know that the second book of the Riddle in Stone series, Betrayal in the Highlands, will probably be released by September. Fingers crossed!!

In the second book, Edmund, Pond, and their new puppy--Becky--finally think they are safe from the goblins when they learn Molly is telling everybody that Edmund is a magic user. Such information is likely to get Edmund and his friends killed. So they have to race back to Rood, evade the goblin hunters, and try to stop Molly from telling everybody his secret. Unfortunately, Molly has already promised not to tell anybody, but she still is.

Three new characters appear in the second book...

Abby, a no-nonsense snoop who wants to adventure and see the world!

Fatty Moron, who is a huge mass of lovable flab who can't speak.

And Becky, a manic puppy who can't stay out of trouble.
