That does sound like horrible torture!

Oh yikes!! That's rough! None of my IRL friends really read or if they do...they don't read YA...so I feel like we're in a similar boat there. I like both adaptations though! My friends & family prefer movies...so I'd get them hooked on that more than TV shows.

I would agree! In my experiences, most of the time if the characters are interesting...the plot sort of follows that or I don't notice because the characters are so cool

I like that feeling of experience something that some else created in their mind too! But I enjoy romances that are mostly set in our world.

Perhaps bookcase shopping is in my near future?! :)

Agree! feels like homework to me....

FOR..."
Gooooood point! It is easier to relate to a female POV most of the time. :)

I have read a few that are strictly told from the male perspective (like the Maze Trials books) & some that go back & forth between female & male POV (I just finished Emergency Contact on audiobook & it was like that). I enjoy them!

I don't really like to share what I'm reading either! Some people can be so judgmental about others by the book the books they read...yuck

I like that thought process! Also...I love borrowing books from the library so...time it is!!!

Lollllll :)

Agreeeeee! I just want my physical books to be in good shape regardless of their age...I love getting a good deal on a well kept book!

I love Sarah Dessen too! I also recently read Geekerella & really enjoyed it. I would like to get more into Kasie West books...I've heard good things :)

I totally agree! That is so much more personal!

Lol...that sounds like this picture from the group (https://images.gr-assets.com/photos/1...)! It is really hard but I'd much rather finish it myself than have someone ruin it for me.

That's a great point...I didn't think about it that way. One good book can impact you in many ways that others (that could be part of that 100 would not). Hmmmmm food for thought

I'm a hardback girl! I just feel like my hardback books are much more sturdy & nothing irks my nerve more than a bent cover...

Yes! I hardly ever do & if I do it is for some work related thing. To me...books are an escape & non-fiction doesn't feel that way to me.

Good point! I have some big name bookstores near me but even those don't always have the book I'm looking for. You can find almost anything online!
