So like say someone has cybernetically enhanced hands, but the design looks like your normal hand instead of like a machine/computer hand?

*Hugh = "heart", "mind", "spirit"
[ GENDER: ] Male
(sexuality) Undecided
[ AGE: ] 63
[ RACE: ] Human
(faction/affiliation) Unaffiliated
(occupation) Florist/Botanist; Owner of Poppy's Garden
[ APPEARANCE: ]

(view spoiler)
( physical description) Hugh has a tall, muscular build, standing at 6'0". He has farmer suntanned skin and salt and pepper grayed hair. He has scars on his hands and arms from his labor in construction and the tattoo of a poppy flower on his right wrist.
[ PERSONALITY ] His face tends to have an expression that says he's "too tired for this shit", but he's actually a giant teddy bear. Hugh will throw down for the innocent and is surprisingly jacked. Hugh may live in the slums, but he doesn't like to act like it. He holds himself and others to higher standards and will never apologize for it. He knows who he is and isn't interested in thugs or rich snobs. He is an honest, hard worker and would never complain about his station in life. He has a melancholy about him, but don't expect him to talk about his feelings. He tends to speak directly and succinctly, uninterested in wasting his time on idle chatter. Despite his gruff exterior, Hugh doesn't turn his back on those who need him and will be damned to stand by and do nothing if he witnesses injustice in front of him.
» strength(s): Fearless, confident, observant, kind, unbending moral compass.
» weakness(es): curt; secretive; guarded; strict; inflexible
» like(s): whiskey; dogs; flowers; children; law-abiding citizens
» dislike(ѕ): gangsters; lazy people; poetry; junkies; entitled assholes
[ HISTORY ] If asked about his past, people might learn a few bits and pieces about Hugh's history, but rarely, if ever, will he share the full story.
In summation, Hugh was born to an average lower-class human mother who worked hard to support her son. She was incredibly strict with him for his own good, but he was always assured of her love and concern. She made sure he studied hard and got a job as a butler to a wealthy family so he wouldn't have to suffer through the back-breaking work of other blue-collar humans. He typically wasn't a trouble-maker. There was a brief period of time where he helped a friend sell drugs when he was especially down on his luck in high school, but his mother beat the fear of God into him and made him swear to never get involved with anything like that again, to which he agreed and is still thankful to her for that this day. Especially seeing how dicey his friend's future had become.
Hugh worked as a butler into his twenties and eventually came to work in the home of the Wyndom family. Rielle Wyndom was close to his age and was sympathetic and kind to him. They formed a special friendship where she would make his workdays more enjoyable and he would make sure to cover for her when she was up to a mischievous adventure. Rielle was a free spirit who had a voracious appetite for learning about the world outside of her golden birdcage. Hugh was a humble butler who couldn't help but get dragged along into her rose-tinted reality. One summer, the Wyndoms traveled to the countryside and brought the other help along to assist in anything they might need. Hugh had gone for a night-time stroll after his chores had been completed for the day. Before he could comprehend what was happening, Rielle had appeared before him and began kissing him. Over the summer, they continued to fall in love. They even talked about Rielle denouncing her family and eloping together. It had all seemed like a dream to the young Hugh. Unfortunately, like all dreams, it had to come to an end. Of course, Hugh wasn't naïve. Rielle would spin beautiful tales of how they would run away together and have a family in the countryside with a small house next to a field of wildflowers, but he'd always see that glimmer of worry and fear in her eyes when she forced herself to smile and he would kiss the worry away until it became genuine. He knew Rielle couldn't so easily throw away her life just the same way that he couldn't grow beyond his station. There was only so much a butler could offer an heiress.
The summer ended and the couple returned to reality. Hugh knew things would return to normal. However, he'd never expected that Rielle would be engaged and married within a week of the family's return to the city. The change had been too drastic and Hugh's young heart had been too fragile and shattered more and more with every minute he spent working for the Wyndoms. He managed to last another month, but eventually resigned from his position, unable to continue.
After mysteriously resigning, he never saw the family again. Resigning also did not look good to other employers and he had difficulty finding other butler positions, so he turned to the blue-collar work that his mother had rightly striven for so long to protect him from. The work was difficult and required long, grueling hours of physical labor. There were days he was so exhausted, he could barely bring himself to drive home after work, so he would sleep in his car. And yet, he somehow found it almost comforting to work so hard that he wouldn't think about the pain he had gone through with Rielle.
Years later, with a little help from his mother, Hugh was able to afford school and managed to open up his own business so that he could rise above the blue-collar work. The month after he opened his business, he received a letter from Rielle. She was sick and apologized for not contacting him after all that had happened. In truth, she'd known about the engagement since before the summer, but had never told him because she wanted the dream to last just a little longer. She apologized so many times for a lot of things, but what she felt the worst about was noot reaching out to him sooner to tell him about her beautiful little girl who had the same bouncy curls as her mother, but the stubbornness and the warm brown eyes that reminded her of Hugh. She even sent nine pictures of Rielle and the precious young girl with a picture they had taken together in front of the different construction sites Hugh had worked at over the past decade. A couple of them even were able to capture him in the background. The letter went on to detail her reasons for secrecy and the stories she would tell her daughter of Mommy's bestest friend. There had been a lot of emotions running through him at the time, but none of those feelings could change his situation or station. The one thing that Hugh could do was focus on his business and taking care of his mother and maybe a couple of others here and there. He kept his head down, his hands clean, and his eyes and ears open for any news of Rielle Wyndom's little girl.

» alternatives: Zeke (more common than his actual name), Z, Zeze (people call him this childishly)
*Ezekiel = "God will strengthen"/"God's strength"
[ GENDER: ] Male
(sexuality) Undecided
[ AGE: ] 17
[ RACE: ] Cyborg
(faction/affiliation) Untouchable; former Elite
(occupation) Errand boy/Untouchable leader's underling/Information broker
[ APPEARANCE: ]

(view spoiler)
( physical description) Zeke is athletically built and lean. He is built for speed and agility, but could parkour his way out of a sticky situation if need be. His appearance is usually ragged and unkempt and his physique hidden under baggy clothes. His ears are cybernetically enhanced, hidden under his shaggy brown hair.
[ PERSONALITY ] Zeke has a lot of angst, but can be soft and occasionally exhibits anger management problems. Zeke takes issue with authority and doesn't care who knows it. Of course, when it comes to Holly, he will accept any request she has with an eye roll and a begrudging sigh. Zeke tends to come off as gruff and asocial, preferring to spend time alone when not messing around or trying to steal alcohol from somewhere. He loves to explore, though, and can usually be found on top of some building drinking/eating something stolen while he watches the sunset. Despite this, Zeke has a soft spot for small, helpless creatures. He would likely have a herd of strays live with him if Holly didn't have anything to say about it. Right now he just has a dog that he takes care of, Ranger. (view spoiler)
» strength(s): athletic ability; speed; anonymity; stealth; brash
» weakness(es): brash; angst; anger issues; vulnerability
» like(s): alcohol; watching the sunset; stray animals;
» dislike(ѕ): nosy people; cops; people trying to parent him; judgemental people
[ HISTORY ] Zeke spent many of his younger years growing up in the lower stratum of the Elite social sphere. His parents fought constantly about money, Zeke, and business. His parents ran a dying cosmetics company that his mother had inherited from her parents. True to their name, the family's appearance was everything to the Hargraves. It didn't matter if none of them has eaten for a few days so long as they could afford the latest styles and get invited to the best parties.
Zeke had always accepted his role as being a prop for his parents to tote around and brag about. Unfortunately, both of his parents were strict. His mother drank and his father had a gambling problem. One day, Zeke's father was away on business and his mother had brought Zeke along on some errands she was running. Distracted by the people she was talking to, Zeke let his eyes wander across the street to a group of children playing soccer in the park. His mother was busy talking and he didn't want to bother her, so he just slipped out the door to join them. About a couple hours later, his mother came storming over to him and ripped him away from the game. He would never forget the way his hand tingled and arm ached from her grasp. They drove home in silence, but when they arrived, he received the punishment of his life. His mother was furious that he had played soccer with some human low-borns in public. He was bringing shame on the family by associating with such people and dragging the family name through the mud. He'd been playing for two hours, giving passerby's plenty of time to identify Zeke. His mother screamed herself into a frenzy, hardly aware herself of the angry things she was shouting at her son. When his father came home, the yelling got louder and angrier between his parents and from his parents towards Zeke. He couldn't remember everything that was said, but he remembered not being able to stop shaking or crying and his chest feeling like it was about to burst even after his parents had stormed away, various objects strewn about the room that had been tossed angrily in one another's direction. Zeke remembered not being able to breathe, then hobbling over to the door to get some fresh air. The next thing he knew, he was blocks away from his house and had no idea how to get home. Then again, he didn't want to go home. On the contrary, he was so relieved to be able to breathe again. He was far happier being lost in a big city than he had ever felt in the comfort of his family, so much so that he would have preferred to die on the streets than return to the hell that awaited him with his parents.
Eventually, his time had come when he could no longer beg for scraps anymore and he was too hungry and tired to move and he was content to wait for death, but he woke up in a shack like hut where a rugged woman named Holly was fixing him something meager, but warm to eat.
