“Who said that?” Mark gave a sad smile

Mark laid her down on the bed and stood. “Then sleep,” he said quietly

Mark put a hand to her cheek, “And I love you”

Mark’s eyes softened, “Really?”

“I’ve never found love before,” Mark replied solemnly

Mark smooths her hair, “You’re okay. You are my kind of perfect.”

“That makes no sense.” Mark said before kissing her back

“I don’t, you were the only thing that made me matter and you’re leaving!” Mark breathed heavily

Mark put his head on top of hers, “I don’t MATTER though…”

Mark hugged her back, “I don’t mind dying though, I don’t really care!”

Mark buried his face in his hands and quietly started to sob

Mark stares at his hands, hiding his pain which was slowly growing unbearable.

Mark sits down, quiet and heartbroken. “I do care. I love you!”

Mark looks down sadly, not having an answer

Mark looks horrified, “What?! Why?!”

Mark walks in, “Hey, what’s wrong?”

“August?” Mark lays down his sword and chases after her.

Mark waved at John, “Hey!”
