You know by now I am groupie. But JA is actually a scientist by trade or degree. I believe she has multiple masters degrees. Anyhow she began writing and selling science textbooks before she become a smut peddler. So sci-fi is totally her thing. Let me know what you think of the first book when you get a chance to read it. I believe its a 4 book series.

I think I read the first book and liked it. But yeah it was totally YA is good for me.

it's part of the captivity. She wasn't allowed. She is afraid, in a foreign place, plus Ethan was there hovering. She fears Lucinda. I hope I got her name right (laugh)

Yes I agree. I also enjoy her new zest and determination. I just fear what happens as more the story is unfolding. Will her love or attachment to Sebastian hold?

My other question for those reading is Ethan mentally ill due to the accident? I felt like this was implied but not stated.
