THIS WOMAN - The Story told from Jesse Ward.
Jesse wants his side of the story told, and what our lord wants, he usuall..."
Right. I want to know how he justifies like 80% of his actions. When did he actually start stalking her? Can't wait.

Reasons why I should not be drawn to Troy Serrano.
Number one: He’s obnoxious.
Number two: He and I were enemies over a decade ago in high school.
Number three: He’s my friend’s ex-boyfriend.
I could go on and on, really.
When my boss gives me an unwanted assignment and tells me it involves spending time with the grandson of one of our residents—the grandson turns out to be Troy. He’s now as successful as he is undeniably handsome.
Lucky me. Four hours a week of having to deal with his insufferable personality and unsolicited advice.
The only consolation is getting to stare at his annoyingly gorgeous face in between our many arguments.
Eventually, though, we slowly warm to each other and our outings become something I actually look forward to.
What’s happening to me?
Apparently, I misunderstood the assignment, because it certainly didn’t include thinking about Troy when I close my eyes at night, imagining what it would be like with him—just once. All the while hating myself for fantasizing about a guy who’s all wrong for me. A guy whose car I keyed back in the day. (Long story, but he deserved it.)
That’s all this is—a fantasy.
Well, until that one night at the bar.
The night Troy and I run into each other, and all of our pent-up frustration comes barreling out.
Still, I refuse to accept that it means anything.
There’s no way the guy I’m supposed to hate is also the one I can’t live without.

You're so lucky you get to read it in real time. While the rest of us have waited years. Now we get to see the mystery of Mr. Ward's mind. I wonder if they will say how old he is right away.

This Woman
Jesse Ward has stumbled through life drinking and indulging himself within the rooms of his high-class sex club, The Manor, numbing himself to the pain, grief, and guilt of his wrongs. Pleasure and alcohol are his medicine. Hedonism is all he knows. It’s how he copes. How he survives.
Until Ava O’Shea strolls into his office and knocks him back with her breathtaking beauty, ambition, and drive. It only takes one look into her eyes, one touch of her skin, and one word murmured, before his heart is kick-started, offering him something he never thought possible. A distraction from his daily torment. A semblance of peace.
Women never reject Jesse Ward. They fall at his feet, melt from his charismatic, devious smile, and obey his every salacious command. All except the one woman who unwittingly becomes his obsession and the only thing that can keep him from the brink of self-destruction.
He needs Ava and will do anything to have her. Even hide every last skeleton in his large closet. Because the truth could destroy them both.

I definitely think you will enjoy ..."
Roger that! Thanks Nadine for the post.

I am so glad you enjoyed it. I have just a few chapters and I will be done as well. I love this story and I forgot so many good juicy parts.

Yes we only see it through Ava's eyes. I think it's hilarious how she avoids his calls. I think she is super strong to do that.

1. I like Ava for the most part. She definitely seems to go back and forth a lot. I also wish [spoilers removed] I also think she is a ..."
I love your perspective. I found Jesse to be just everything. He is so commanding and consuming. To be in his presence is to be completely watched and looked after. I think it's charming how he evades the question of his age.
I love your manor by the way. Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

1. On a re-read I find Ava to be a little frustrating; I guess it can be chalked up to naivete? [spoilers re..."
I love how flexible and romantic your viewpoint is Ambrr. I agree Jesse always just makes me swoon. I don't have any problems, I'm like legs open and sign me up. (laugh)
I agree Ava is young and coming off a bad break up, perhaps that left her very insecure.
Your Manor is quite impressive. I would be team Jesse if I pulled up to that house. Thanks for sharing and using spoilers.

Amazon #1 Best Sellar. NOW Live!!
New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaelsreturns to the Willow Creek Valley Series in this stunning small town/fake marriage romance.

My marriage started as a lie.
But some lies are worth telling.
My father’s dying wish was to walk me down the aisle, and I’d do anything for him.
Even marry a man I don’t love.
So when my fiancé jilts me only days before the ceremony, I turn to my college friend, Oliver Parkerson, and convince him to marry me.
My family hasn’t met either man, so I’m confident we can pull this off.
But the feelings, our touches, the way my heart beats for him... none of it feels pretend. The way he holds me at night and carries me through loss tells me he’s not acting either.
I didn't mean to fall for my fake husband, but real love was the one thing I couldn't predict.
Except, nothing built on lies can last—I know that better than anyone.
But the truth might tear us apart forever.
