“I don’t know anyone who would want to, but you could find someone?”

Kea pondered. “I’d go with the oxygen, and probably the lifting too.”

Daegon walked down the stairs, his pants clean and dirty no longer. He drinks a bottle of water, not realizing how hungry and thirsty he’s been.

“Yeah, shoot.” she stepped back.

He took a deep breath after a while, calming down. He wasn’t as sensitive to everything now, so Daegon decided now was better than never to head back to the building and maybe actually eat, or sleep.

Kea nodded, then got serious. “If you get compromised, you run as fast as you can and get here.”

Kea nodded. “Don’t use your powers excessively to Daegon, he’ll think your cocky and won’t let you help.”

(k! Kea and Daegon were friends, then Kea discovered her powers and Daegon thought it was unnatural. He got his powers and realized what exactly he could do with them [he can manipulate cells]. He decided to kill everyone with powers including himself when it’s all over, and the best way to do it is go for MAPA first.)

“So, tell me what you know about their group?” she asks, putting on fingerless gloves.

Daegon ran into the house, freaking out. He slammed the door shut and sat down on the ground. He took a deep breath in, then out, repeating the process for a bit before his heart rate dropped some more. “I just want to get this over with...” he thinks.
