Daegon backed away, crossing his arms.

Daegon chuckled quietly. “Oh, how you’re wrong.”

“Are you now?” Daegon raised an eyebrow. “And why’s that?”

Daegon walked through the doorway, hiding a flinch from the light and life.

Daegon popped his knuckles, finally looking up to the worlds around him. He noticed a cluster of cells behind the wall on the deck, and he squinted a bit more.

Eleanor shrugged. “I’m still here, though.”

Kea smiled. “Thanks man.”

(angus voice: hello sirs!)

Kea nodded again, listening to him. “We’re gonna have to do everything we can.”

Kea nodded. “Thanks, but there’s no way he’d listen. He’d kill us all, then his team.”

Kea looked away. “I just- I know I have to fight Daegon, but i don’t want to. I refuse to believe that there’s no good left in him.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Kea said, looking up and putting on a tired smile.

Kea sighed. “Everything,” she half-joked.

Daegon lifts himself out of the secret hatch, shutting it behind him. He brushed dust and dirt off of his clothes, staring at them instead of the world around him.

Kea was sitting in the chair at the head of the huge table, head in her hands. “What to do... what to do...”

Daegon brows furrowed, and he quickly left, avoiding everyone.

“You can always ask Kea,” Eleanor offered, fiddling with the flower crown.

Eleanor shrugged. “I- I’m not sure... I just got dropped off here.”
