Kea looks over at Lucas and puts on a tired smile. “I guess. The gloves are fireproof so i don’t burn things. but it gets uncomfortable to keep in the flames for a long period of time.”.

“what are you two doing out here anyways?” Sasha asks, crossing his legs.

Kea stops punching, panting and putting her hands on her knees. She rips off her gloves and her hands catch aflame.

Sasha looks away, leaves picking up around him. “i’m fine.”

Sasha shrugs and his feet lift off the ground. “I’m fine, it’s not too serious.”

Kea shrugs, the smell of smoke in the air.

Sasha sits up and rubs his sore back. “sure..” he definitely wasn’t.

Sasha peeks out an eye and shakes her hand, his other arm still covering his face. “Sasha...”

Kea nods and starts. “I was... 17, i think? so 3 years ago. I was at a beach in a beach house on vacation and my parents kind of... made me mad. I burned the house down, but somehow my family made it out alive. It all kinda sparks from temper, i think.” she punches harder, not realizing how upset the story made her before she said it. it had been too long since she’s told someone.

Sasha looks up at Fleur, embarrassed. he covers his face with an arm, but you can see his pink cheeks beforehand. “sorry...” he mumbles.

“It could’ve been worse. I don’t tell many this, but I’ll tell you how i found mine out if ya want.”

Sasha leans out farther, not paying attention to his gravity. He falls forward, yelling on the way down. He lands on a pile of leaves, sore.

Kea whistles. “Well, that’s one way to find out.”

Kea smiles and goes back to punching. She’s silent for a bit, but asks another question before the silence became too much. “When did you know about the power?”

Sasha peers down, leaning over the tree branch and watches the girl below.

Kea laughs. “Nope! i’m fine. but the dummy wouldn’t be without the gloves.”

Kea stops immediately at her yelp. “what’s wrong?” she turns around quickly.

It shouldn’t really be considered a library. It’s just a room with some bookshelves and not enough books to fill them, but there’s some seats.

“I was born in North Dakota. I don’t like i was, huh?” Smoke starts rising from her gloves.

Kea smiles and turns back to her dummy. Over the sounds of her punching the dummy, she starts asking Quinn simple questions. “Where’re you from?”
