Kea nodded, and turned to look at Nicholas. “So, what’s up with you, what’s your story?”

Kea sighed. “We were good friends up until i was 17, when i got my power. His was close after that. He was.... sweet. Smiled a lot. We were close friends, always telling each other everything, but when i told him about my power he.... started acting weird. I’m still not sure why.”

“Very.” Kea laughs, and leans back into the couch.

“Very much so. But he thinks people with powers are unnatural, so he’s trying to kill them all, basically.”

“From what I can tell, he can manipulate human cells, regenerate and harm them. It’s caused him to not be able to feel pain.”

“True. I’m going to put the meeting room to good use and talk about him. He’s been showing up on my radar- well, not exactly him, but the things he can do.”

“You’ve never met him, or you wouldn’t think I’m joking,” she says hopelessly.

“Perhaps fight him?” She said, cracking her knuckles and tossing her two braids behind her back.

“We stopped being friends.” She said simply, sitting down.

“You are bringing a message to Kea.” He makes a fist, and (I’m sorry if this doesn’t make much sense) And a bruise immediately blossoms on Mishas arm, with pain following.

“Just- an old friend has popped back up recently.” She says.

He takes a deep breath, looking between the two. “I’d like you to bring a message to someone.”

“Alright then, Nicholas Law,” Kea says, grinning tiredly.

“I am Death himself,” the tall man says, carelessly turning his eyes to Misha.

He rolls his eyes. “I’m guessing Kea forgot to mention me?”

“Pity.” He says, leaning against a tree.

“You don’t know me, Luis?” he says, feigning surprise, but only to mock him.

“Kea,” she answered. “And you are..?”

Kea nodded, and held out a hand for him to take.

“Can you not shift objects like you do yourself?” she asks, standing up tiredly.
