Kea grinned. “That could work. But do you think you could be like them?” she asks, lifting an eyebrow.

Daegon stood up, his eyes downcast, and ran off, not even caring to brush the dirt off of his pants.

Daegon flinched slightly, and kept quiet. He just needed to be alone, maybe in an emptier house? With no life or sound, just him and nonliving things.

Daegon sighed, and mumbled, “Are you okay...?”

Daegon stayed silent, totally unlike him.

Daegon sits on the porch, his head in his hands. He was breathing fast, but trying to calm himself down. “Just go inside, or close your eyes.” He thought, but cells were everywhere. And it wasn’t just noticing them like a third eye; it was like he could feel them too.

perhaps she’s known Kea for a bit?

“ah, um... okay...” she murmurs, looking down at her gloves hands. She tiredly gets up and walks to the pond. She sits down and takes off one sock, and dips her foot in.

“i’m sorry...” she mumbles, still on the ground

“oh, um... no reason to go! you were here first...” she stumbles back, tripping on a tree root and falling.

“s-sorry,” Eleanor mumbled, taking another step back.

Eleanor stepped out of the trees and saw a girl turned away from her. She takes a step back, trying to stay quiet, but she steps on a branch and it snaps.

Eleanor padded between trees, gloves and socks on, but no shoes. She hums half-mindedly, her thoughts instead on the flowers next to her feet.

“Couple weeks.” Eleanor put her book down and starched. “I got to go... bye!” she says to her, and leaves the room.

Daegon sighed through his nose. “I should probably just leave her...” he thinks to himself.

the pond would be that area

He clenches his jaw and says, “I want to see your powers.”

Daegon heard nothing but leaves crunch. The boy was leaving. “Hey, freak!” he called out, trying to gain his attention.

Daegon hopped back, his hair slightly ruffled as he stays silent.

Daegon gritted, and skirted out of the way.
