"Well, it'll take a long time, and this is weird, but starting with deep breaths helps. Just closing your eyes and focusing soon breathing clears your mind; it lets you focus on the breath, and then your power. When you use your power, you should feel something; focus on that feeling." Rhyme instructed.

"Well, I have air manipulation; it was... really crazy at first. I uh, actually almost pushed classmates into the Grand Canyon on a field trip, but luckily, I stopped just in time. Invisibility is a whole different power, but focus is always the key to controlling powers." She said, turning a little red when she mentioned the Grand Canyon.

"Huh, you're probably of people saying this, but I could try to help?" She offered.

"Why?" Rhyme asked, interested in the conversation.

She nodded. "Okay; awesome. You can make parts of your body disappear? Wait; I guess that's invisibility."

"Your hands were disappearing." Rhyme said, shaking herself out of her daze.

Rhyme nodded, still looking freaked out. "Yeah... So that's normal? I should probably stop staring." She said, still staring at his hands.

Rhyme looked at Lex. "Whoa... Should we... wake them up?" She asked, not knowing what the heck to do.

Rhyme raised her eyebrows. "Huh." She said quietly, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.

Rhyme had an inquisitive look on her face as she looked at them but shrugged, looking back at the kitten. "That's really cool." She said, to both the kitten and the girl with the color-changing hair.

Rhyme noticed Lex looking at her and looked back in. "Hi." She said with a half-grin.

Rhyme looked up and smiled at the bird. "Shapeshifter?" She asked, tilting her head.

Rhyme quietly brought her knees to her chest, looking at the movie. She didn't really like sad movies; she hated crying.

Rhyme nodded. "Okay." She said and held out a fluffy pillow to her. "It helps to have something to squeeze the life out of." She said with a kind grin. She saw a girl walking in and waved to her. "Hey!"

Rhyme looked at the girl. "We can watch something else?" She asked, wanting to make her feel better.

"My favorite was and always will be Discord." Rhyme said chuckling and looked up at the screen, putting her book to the side.
