Dana wrote: "Not a millennial but the podcast did resonate with me especially the errand paralysis. Thanks for giving it a name."Thanks for tuning in, Dana! As a team, we talked a lot about how burn out seemed like more of a societal problem than something specific to millennials. And in our conversation, the author even acknowledged that point. I assume it's a good way to drive up sales, but I wonder if it turned anyone away at the same time...

Now that we've all had some time to get through the book, we want to know what your reactions have been! Does the concept of burnout resonate for you? Are you taking steps to decompress? Did you never even start the book because you were too stuck in errand paralysis?? Let us know here.
Oh, and make sure to check out our author interview with Anne Helen Petersen which publishes on Friday, October 16 in the Nerdette feed.

HEY! We're recording book club on Wednesday and would love to hear from some listeners before then. What do you think of the structure? Which character do you relate to most? What's it like to read this book while in the midst of a different sort of isolation? Even if you're not finished yet, you can still send in questions and comments!

Hey y'all -- hope you are hanging in and taking care. Just wanted to let you know we're going to postpone our next book club by a week to give everyone time to read and contribute comments. Or sharing a copy with a friend? Or maybe looking into an audiobook subscription? If you buy the book at a local bookstore, you're also supporting cultural variety in your community, which might make the prices feel better.
