Just finished this and really like it - told in short story vignettes and based on fairy tales. Nice and spooky for the season. Beautifully written

I just finished Blindness by José Saramago. Let's hope this isn't what survival looks like.

I have been reading her essays in "Nothing Like I Imagined" I love her writing style.

I liked it but it took me a long time to get through it - I'm going to continue with the series

I chose Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine. I really liked it - took me a bit to get into it but now I'm hooked. I will continue with this series.

Laugh out loud funny - she had me from the very first joke!

The Matthew Perry story - one long story of addiction. Kind of sad considering he is now gone.

Just finished this - really cute!

I had heard so much about this book, but I just found it okay for me. There were interesting parts but overall the story never got going.

Ruling Class - The King. This is set in Spain where there is a clear hierarchy between the ruling class, people with money and the servants. This was just an okay read for me. Some parts were interesting but I found it slow to get through and didn't feel like the story really got going.

I chose "you" and boy did I love this one - it was a fantastic read. I'm surprised I haven't read Lisa Gardner before - I must have 20 of her books!

I really loved this one!

I just finished The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins.

It has won a few awards, including Goodreads for best Young Adult Fantasy and Science Fiction 2020.

I wasn't a fan but if you liked Hunger Games and want to know about Cornelius Snow I would check it out.
