105559 I love making playlists to go along with books (if you look at my 8tracks you can see proof lol). I saw on a blog where they had someone say a book and they made a playlist or just listed a song that they felt would be the book soundtrack! Like my Allegiant song will always be All Comes Down by Kodaline.

I'll go first: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare?

105559 @Aisha there are the always recommended ones like Anna and the French Kiss, Fangirl, and Eleanor & Park. I just finished Something Real by Heather Demetrios that was amazing and one of my instant favorites. My Life Next Door and Golden by Jessi Kirby are really good too! For more paranormal standalones All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill is a great one (although now goodreads is saying it has a sequel but it was advertised as a standalone).

105559 I like series because I like getting to really know characters (which is why I usually like TV shows more than movies). However, every once in a while I like standalones (mainly contemporary novels). It is kind of nice not having a cliffhanger and getting some resolution to storylines and not have to wait a year in between.

105559 YES! It is like a combination of You've Got Mail and Notting Hill..I loved it! A lot of people like her first book better (The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight), but it's my favorite of her books!

105559 Yeah Cath is frustrating, but you understand why she is the way she is. The family storyline was so good and well developed. All the characters were great and really relatable!

105559 I just saw this on BookTube and thought it looked fun!!

What books that you have read influenced you and your life the most? (you can include the reason if you want!)

My most influential books:
1. Harry Potter - this was the first books series I fell in love with and all the books really influenced me throughout my life and how I choose to approach things!
2. The Fault in Our Stars - this book and its message really stuck with me.
3. Divergent - I loved the line about how "becoming fearless isn't the point. It's learning to control your fear and how to be free from it" and I loved how it made me think about what I'm afraid of!
4. Just One Day by Gayle Forman - I identified so much with the main character of this book (creepily enough she had my name) and it has really stayed with me since I finished it!
5. Golden by Jessi Kirby - this book snuck up on me and I didn't realize how much it impacted me until I kept thinking about it and could not get it out of my head. It had amazing quotes like, "We are all more than the person we show to everyone else." It also made me fall back in love with poetry (like Robert Frost and Jean de La Fontaine)!

Bonus:
Daughters of the Moon series by Lynne Ewing - first book crush (Stanton)!! I read this in middle school and still think about it and the beginning of my book fangirling haha!

105559 Yeah I divide them into happy romance ones and the more serious ones..the best are the ones that have sweet romances combined with more serious themes!
