For those of you who haven't heard, something crazy happened in the bookish community a few weeks ago. Author Stacey Jay (Of Beast and Beauty, Princess of Thorns) started a Kickstarter online fundraiser to raise money for her to write and self-publish the sequel to Princess of Thorns. Being a bit too honest, she explained that around $3,500 would go to cover design, editing professional help, and publishing and that the rest around $7,000 would go to supporting her family (groceries, gas, etc...) while it took her the 3-4 months to write the novel. This caused a huge debate within the reading community as people with differing opinions and feelings regarding this argued. Unfortunately some people got VERY angry at Stacey Jay, sent her hate mail, and someone actually leaked a picture of her house online. Since then, Jay has canceled the fundraiser and decided to stop writing YA novels and focus on her adult romance novels under a pen name.
I find this so sad and tragic that people tormented her so, but at the same time did she do the right thing in her proposal?

I'm not really sure what I was thinking back then, but I'm not a fan of the single threads for series books. I'm thinking of archiving them all except the thread for the first book in the series, renaming it to be the thread for the entire series, and sticking it in a newly labeled "book series" folder. Any objections or thoughts?
I picked 80 which is kind of crazy for me considering I have a busy year ahead. And I'm a junior in high school :0
