Hi all,

I don't think I've ever said hello here. I'm the original founder of this group (I'm guessing about 10 years ago?!) and I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Feliks for keeping this group alive and very active!

About 15 years ago, I was addicted to spy novels. My favourite is still Le Carre's TSWCIFTC. Unfortunately, I tried reading his latest Silverview and couldn't really get into it. Our reading tastes do definitely change as we get older.

I guess all those years reading spy novels have helped me in my personal trajectory somewhat as I now work in the intelligence community (not a spy though!!).

My addiction to espionage novels started when I read "The Spy Who Came in From the Cold" by John Le Carre more than 5 years ago. It was a tight gripping novel and I was hooked.
