The Tenant of Wildfell Hall is such a great story. I hope you're enjoying it.My goal for this year was to reread all of Alexandre Dumas' works that I own. So far I've finished:
-"The Three Musketeers"
-"Twenty Years After"
-"The Vicomte de Bragelonne"
-"The Women's War"
And I read "The Red Sphinx" for the first time.
I've nearly finished "Louise de la Valliere".
I think I'll be carrying this challenge in to next year though, I've still about 7 more to read.
😂😂 I'm finding him a bit better since his marriage. And I also appreciate what Tolstoy was doing constrasting Levin's slow building relationship with Anna's whirl wind one. That helps with my opinion of him.
I'm just starting part 6 and completely agree about Levin's chapters. They bore me to tears. The rest is very gripping though. Getting through it much faster than I thought I would.
My goal for this year is to reread all of Alexandre Dumas' work that is currently in print in English. I finished "The Three Musketeers" in January and am now reading "The Red Sphinx.:
Hi, I'm Tracey from Dublin in Ireland. I've been reading classics for years now, and they are still my first choice of reading material. My absolute favourite is The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas (I named my dogs after the chatacters), but I also love Emma by Jane Austen and anything Sherlock Holmes.
