Try “Three Men in a boat” by Jerome K. Jerome :)"

Hi Lily. I've never heard of this book and author before. I looked it up and it sounded so interesting i went out and bought it. I look forward to reading it soon. Thanks for the recommendation:)

1035419 Hi everyone ;) I'm Emma and i come fom Greece. I don't ususally participate in groups but i'm truly excited about joining this one.
Thank you Lucy for hosting this event!!

I used to be an avid reader as a child -my favorite book back then was Without family by Hector Malot. As a university student i read and loved a lot of classics my absolut favorite being 1984 which was a recommended read in Sociology of Privacy and Surveillance class.

This year i'm prioritizing classics and i aspire to read most of the unread books i have on my shelves already. Some of them are:

Anna Karenina by Tolstoy
East of Eden by Steinbeck
The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas
Beloved by Toni Morrison
Middlemarch by George Eliot
Brothers Karamazov by Dostoefsky
Old Goriot by Honore de Balzac
The house of Mirth by Edith Wharton
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Emma by Jane Austen
Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier

I'm certain our conversations will enrich my reading experience.
