 1. I loved the way the mystery unfolded. the book had enough foreshadowing for the culprit to make sence and a wonderful plot twist!

3. Still, Gwenda is much braver than I. I would say, "Sayōnara, dear house" and run!
 sorry I am late a day...busy times.
sorry I am late a day...busy times.1. I have wanted to read this book for a while once I heard it was one of Shannon's favorites. I am totally engaged. I think there will be plenty more twist and turns to go...and i am excited for them!
2. I have enjoyed Gwenda's character. she has been a very interesting character to follow and her subconscious memory is impeccable.
3. there is no way i could possibly lay my head in that home each night. Giles and Gwenda are way braver than I would ever be.
enjoying this read. can't wait for next discussion! :)

 1: No, not really
1: No, not really2:YES, it was a few chapters before then I had a feeling that i didnt suspect Major Burnaby as much as i should have. when I got to thinking of it, it made sense.
3: I love emily so much! I wish she was in many more books! also, I was in love with her and Charles being together. I realize that if I read about her and Jim I would probably want them together;however, selfish me want them together so bad. broke my heart.
I plan on rating 5 stars and hope to reread in the future. thank you, Shannon for hosting! I plan on joining you all in March!
@Shannon. I can see possibly some red herrings in this one. yes, i vote for A. The Pale Horse. However, Sparking Cyanide is a close runner up!
