Great to hear from you Douglas! I am seeing a LOT of Russell Blake around the traps, he sure is prolific. Read one of his 'how to sell eBooks' tongue-in-cheek tomes a few weeks ago but will reserve my judgement on that for when we get together for beers in Sydney and can chat face to face!

What was the first thriller you can remember reading? What about it inspired your love of the genre?

I should contribute seeing as I'm moderating this Thriller Chat along with Chris and Julie. I'm Sarah, Chris's other half and media / marketing maven for the Intrepid brand.

1. I'm from Sydney and currently living in Pymble on Sydney's North Shore. Quiet, spacious, green, about 20 mins from the city.

2. I think you know the answer to that! I also like Dan Brown, Sandra Brown, Luke Preston, and I like the punchy dialogue of Andy McNab's Nick Stone character. Other than thriller writers I am obsessed with Roald Dahl - ever since I was a little girl. My favourite Aussie writer of the female variety is Helen Garner for her honesty and thoughtfulness.

3. The Ninth District by Douglas Dorow who has become a pal of Chris's via the interweb. Nice guy, Minnesotan.
