I think we'll also see more of Sam's past and whatever else is going on with his mom. Ahahah, I think we'll just generally see a deeper insight into everyone's past that hasn't been explored yet.
Whatever happens, I think I'll be rereading the first book the week before it comes out because I'm horrible at remembering things. Even now, I'm having a hard time recollecting the minor details;

Meanwhile, mysterious deaths have been turning up in the city, victims of an unknown sleeping sickness. Can the Diviners descend into the dreamworld and catch a killer?
So what do you guys think of the title and synpopsis?
Thoughts/predictions?

Hopefully the author writes more fanfics because she has Evie's voice to a tee, which is something I always look out for when I scour for fanfiction.

My main criticism with it would have to be the end. I felt like it was a bit too rushed?? Maybe it's just me because I was going through it so fast ahahahaha

So how many of you watched the movie recently? Thoughts? Praise/criticism?

Like yes, her charm is supposed to be in parts grating and endearing but that's not the entirety of her character. Haters seem to forget how good she can be, how in reality, all that she wants in life is to be more than ordinary and make a mark on the world.
What do they expect her to be--irritatingly self-deprecating to a fault and insecure? Like you, I love her confidence. I love how her insecurities aren't based on her looks or self-worth, but on her powers and abilities.
She's honestly one of my favorite YA heroines simply for that reason. Because in truth, the most perfect characters are the ones that are flawed. And Evie has so much potential to be greater than she already is, to go above beyond what makes her imperfect and I love for her that.

Psh, no one's ever too old for YA! I find sometimes that they can be more mature or more meaningful than some of the other adult novels I've read.
But welcome, Ellie! Really glad you've joined--I love to fangirl about this book in depth and having other people there makes it all the better! :D

Like one of my favorite quotes is this one: "Jericho didn't know if he would function like a normal man. He only knew that he had all the feelings of one. He wanted Evie. He wanted her desperately. With his hands on hers, he imagined what it would be like to kiss her, to make love to her. She was a little spoiled and often selfish, a good-time girl with a surprising kind streak. She ran toward life full tilt while Jericho held back, not daring. She made him feel alive, and he wanted more of it."
SOBS THEY'RE PERFECT
BUT like you, I have this awful feeling that something bad is going to happen to Jericho...like at the end of the second book, he dies trying to save Evie and just UGH
OMG KARTIK SOBS WHY DID HE HAVE TO TURN INTO A TREE WHY
Goodreads is more like a discussion/reviews for all the books you've read I think?? I mean, they have links and stuff for Amazon to buy the book but I don't think they have an in-site store.
Hopefully, we get more members! I made this because I wanted people to discuss it so I could talk to them about it. Like Tumblr's great for graphics and art and stuff but discussion's kind of hard with multiple people. I've been trying to promote it and stuff on Tumblr and Twitter (I even tried tweeting Libba to help me but I don't think she'll respond ahahaha) but so far, you're the only one who responded.
And that's how I knew it was you because I was looking on Tumblr to see who responded to my text post and I was like 'OMG STKIDD LIKED MY POST' and yeah.

As for me, I'm a bit in the middle because I love Sam and Evie's dynamic. They're both so funny together. But Jericho and Evie have this opposites-attract thing going on. He's quiet and unassuming and Evie's boisterous and charismatic and I dig that in my ships, you know??
And you never know with Libba...she has a track record for killing half of my ships in her books. SIGH.
I'm glad you joined the site though to discuss! That's freakin' awesome. I've seen your art floating around in Tumblr and you're amazingly, amazingly talented! ~
