My third year English teacher, teach the story of Bewolfe back then I did not understand Archetypal Criticism. The story was very interesting and it was very hero type story, the understanding of the story was powerful kind of made me understand the Anglo Saxon. It was a archetype because of the hero and the different things he went trough. Also the story of bewolfe was always told by mouth. So that is way I think ms. Lara teach in-between archetypal criticism.

The main characters of the story all have went trough a great change, but let us not forget why. with out Gregor change, there would not be any change of the family. Gregor has had the biggest change so far."but other times he was no langer at all in the mood to worry about his family; he was filled with nothing but rage over how badly he was looked after; and even though he couldn't imagine anything he might have had an appetite."(kafka page 41) in this qoute it show that gregor change was not just physiclly but also mentally.In this qoute it show that not only gregor could not eat but he could not think of what was to come of his famliy.this is very important,because gregor was so use to taken care of his family. imagining things was out of is reach for he had no appetite; the right care was not given to him.He is not human that is what we see. what we dont see is the change of gregor emotion to more being a human,and his family emotion being more like a animal; more like a bug.

I think what make Kafka a modernist, is his strong passion for magical realism which make this book a great one. i like the way he take this book and add magical elements into a group of people lives.with out no warning the people in the book are force to change.that is what i think kafka was tring to point out. no matter what,no matter how many time u get up and do the same thing every day you have to did with change.

I did not like the story, just like most of the stuff we do in the class. i dont think i liked it because i feel like know one was tring to make the lady in the story feel trap. she is a house wife she must do what she is told!!! if she want to do things her way why would she get with that guy. i think she just want to sleep around if you ask me,but i could be wrong.kate need to get a life and stop feeling that men are intraping women!!

i am so proud to be black, and not just to be black to be american. this is what my garndparents fought for. this make me think of what i have to do in life, to show that anybody could rise above anything at at anytime.Obama show me every day to never give up, allways fight for change even if you dont see it happening now or ever.

i just want to say i am really happy that we are done with the story, but by saing that the story was good. what i got out of this was that the mother was just being a mom.She was just telling her little girl things she would need to know to live in what we call "the world".maybe i would write something like that to my son.
