The term neuroeducation (Mind, Brain, and Education Sciences) is derived from the three core academic disciplines (Neuroscience, Education, and Psychology) intersecting in the following manner:
Neuroscience + Education = Educational Neuroscience
Neuroscience + Psychology = Neuropscychology
Education + Psychology = Educational Psychology
The epistemology, philosophy, and history of these three disciplines are equally important. The academic lens through which we see the world influences what is viewed as knowledge, how it is acquired, who amongst us know, and why we know what we do.
